Museum Tours
Good news: at our museum, you will always find an on-duty guide, fluent in Romanian and English, ready to answer your questions and show you interesting details — all included in the ticket price.
For a complete tour of approximately 40 minutes, we kindly ask you to make a reservation by email at undevaincomunism@gmail.com.
Tour fee (added to the ticket price):
– 60 lei / group (max. 10 people)
– 120 lei / group (max. 20 people)
– 180 lei / group (max. 30 people)
The tour is available in Romanian or English.
Stories & Flavors of Communism – Tour
If you’re looking for a truly special experience, we recommend the “Stories & Flavors of Communism” tour, created in partnership with Bucharest by Foot. It includes a city walk, a full museum visit, personal stories, and an authentic tasting — including nechezol, the famous communist-era coffee substitute.
Available daily from 10:00 AM, with prior reservation (English only).
Dinner inside the Museum of Communism after Closing Time
For something truly unique: a full tour, informal discussions “over a drink” with the guide, and a complete “back-in-the-day” dinner, accompanied by Romanian wine and țuică/plum brandy (pălincă) or sour cherry liqueur (vișinată).
Available on selected days from 6:30 PM, with prior reservation (English only).
